There seems to be serious staffing issues. Nurses weren't able to respond in a timely manner and prescribed therapy services were not provided. On a positive note, when the nurses did arrive after extended wait times (2 hours when I was there visiting, longer at night according to my dad), they were kind...but there is only so much they can do. We removed my dad after several days due to concerns with his safety/well-being in this facility.

I can't believe these people call themselves center for rehabilitation and healing! They are terrible! My sister went in for rehab after a knee replacement surgery, and she had an awful experience. Most of the staff was unfeeling, they put a diaper on her so they wouldn't have to help her to the bathroom, when the last thing she needed was to lie in bed without moving for hours after a knee replacement surgery. She was vomiting, and the only person who showed some compassion was the woman who delivered her food from the kitchen. I wonder how they got a 4 star rating. Her grandson took her out the next day!

Most important thing to know my father was there for three days before I could get him moved to a better facility. First impressions were awful. There was a door to resident hallway wide open when I walked up. My father was admitted to a room next to the entrance and there was general chaos. Be aware that there a large number of 4 person rooms in this facility. My father was put in one of those. The A/C was not working properly so the room was always hot. We were told to bring a fan (which I did) then they put in an industrial floor drying fan which made the room even noisier. Food was ok. Staff was generally pretty good although they were always short staffed. For example the last night there was one nurse for two wings plus she was answering the door/ letting people out because the receptionist was out.

Room's in the 400 hall is too warm. Putting a fan blowing on an elderly person is unacceptable. They need to fix the call button as the string is hard for an elderly person to pull from the bed. And Putting a bell to ring in the place of a call button is unacceptable, as a nurse or an aid wouldn't hear it unless they were actually walking by the room. I feel that my elderly parent might have needed to call a nurse but wasn't able to and my parent died due to the lack of care.

Coming in this facility your not even greeted properly the nurses / aid give you an impression like they don’t want to assist the visitor or the patient . Very lack of care from what I observed the place is not very welcoming. I really hope and pray my dad is ok here while we are able to get him out of this place . It’s a nightmare!!
