Refused to take furniture even though it’s not that bad, rude people don’t go there. When I told him it took a long time to get there he got mad and told me that no one cares about where I’m from. You try to donate something for those in need and you get yelled at because you complain.

I have been to the Salvation army twice the men in the program are very encouraging however the staff was not they continually found trivial reasons to turn me away
For example they said" it seems like you took a long time to grow your hair I don't want you to cut it if you are not sure"
When i said I'm sure they then said we will have to drug test you before you come in. When I agreed to drug test and waited in the lobby no one came foward to drug test me and I was told to leave. It seems more effort was taken to detour me from the program than to welcome me.
