My relative recently came to the Pearl and what I appreciate the most is having the assistant administrator Matt as my primary point of contact. He listens, makes himself available and immediately addresses any issue. That gives me comfort knowing my relative's needs will be met timely.

Look further into these reviews, they manipulate the Google system, this is not a 4 star facility. Therapists are good here, but the nursing staff does not encourage movement ie assisted bathing and toilet transfers daily to bridge the functional gains in PT and OT. My Mom's clothing were stolen by her roommate, and when we stole it back she pitched a fit. They are severely understaffed in nursing and housekeeping to the point I was ready to go to the dollar store and clean the room myself. My Mom continued to get weaker, and contracted COVID there, they were so slow to authorize a COVID test, we brought our own and tested her. We demanded for her to be transferred back to the original hospital she came from. They didn't even do the transport auth correct and we ended up paying for the bill ourselves. We were there every day and despite that she got weaker and eventually passed 1 months post her stay there. Do not trust the reviews, go to the facility and walk all the halls. This place needs a huge overhaul, as a medical professional myself this is not the normal standard of care in a facility like this. This is a delayed post her care was from Dec thru Jan 2024, but based on the reviews nothing has changed.

I saw the Pearl for the first time today while visiting my mom. She seemed comfortable, clean, and happy. That's all that a daughter could want. I love you Mom. Thank you to all of the staff at the Pearl.

Please do not send your loved ones. If I can give it no stars I would. The place looks so nice and clean when you walk in but the real place is when you walk further down to where you will start finding the rooms itself, the stench you are hit with. Waiting well over 30 mins when you hit the call bell to be cleaned up. Instead of waiting, you decide to go to the nursing station for help to be told to wait so you wait some more for someone to finally show up and say again and be annoyed. The countless times you have fallen and get no calls regarding it. They told me my dad banged his toe when he was coming out the bathroom, I told them that was impossible since he was bedridden, they say oh well we’re going to have to call you back. I questioned my father about it and he said it was the bed that had a screw popping out. The missing clothes, the missing belongings the list goes on and on. Countless times where I had to request oxygen for my dad, for them later to tell me he refused it on his last moments of living. Horrible place falls short for this place. When asked why it took them so long to take him to the hospital before passing they said they were trying to take care of it. They sent him on an ambulance in such horrible condition he died arriving to the hospital. Oh, let’s not talk about how it took well over 2 almost 3 weeks to get his death certificate signed. When we questioned why, no one had answers, NO ONE. Their only response was we will do better, so you mean to tell me that my dad to to die for you guys to actually do your job? To care? My dads health started declining at 2am they called they ambulance at 820 and he died minutes after that. Why did it take them so long to call? Questions we will never have an answer to. The lack of empathy and compassion is unacceptable and unbelievable.

When I entered the facility, it was clean. It did not smell of urine. The staff was very friendly and cordial. When I met my family member who were clean and dry. The room was clean. The floor was clean. They only complaints My family member had was the food. That is because they are used to eating food with a lot of seasoning.
