After completing long-term treatment upstate, I had limited insurance—but The Way Home welcomed me into their evening IOP. It turned out to be exactly what I needed.
Matthew, the evening/weekend therapist, is a rare find. His groups were creative, grounded, and emotionally real. I didn’t always want to show up—but I never wanted to miss what Matthew had planned. He’s the kind of therapist who makes recovery feel alive again—like something you want to be part of.
Bobbie, the Clinical Director, is in a league of her own. She doesn’t just supervise—she connects. She brings deep insight, compassion, and a no-nonsense honesty that makes you feel safe enough to be real. Hands down, the best therapist I’ve ever had.
The program may have felt short in length, but it was rich in connection, structure, and growth. The Way Home didn’t just provide treatment—they offered me a chance to re-engage with my recovery in a way that felt human and hopeful.

I cannot thank the team at The Way Home Treatment Center enough for the incredible support they’ve shown me on my journey to sobriety. I’ve been here twice, and each time, the staff—Taha, Matt, Rachelle, Eileen, Tim, and Andrew—welcomed me with open hearts, unwavering patience, and genuine kindness. Their care made all the difference in helping me establish a strong foundation in my early recovery, and I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
From my first visit, Taha and Matt took the time to listen and guide me through my struggles with compassion, never making me feel judged. Rachelle and Eileen brought warmth and encouragement, always knowing how to lift my spirits on tough days. Tim and Andrew were pillars of strength, offering practical advice and showing me what resilience looks like. Their collective love and dedication created a safe space where I could begin to rebuild my life.
My second time around, their patience never wavered. They remembered me, understood my challenges, and helped me pick up where I left off, pushing me toward the progress I’m so proud of now. This team doesn’t just do their job—they pour their hearts into helping people like me find hope and stability. I’m forever grateful for their kindness and the role they played in my sobriety journey. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, The Way Home Treatment Center is it.

My time at The Way Home Treatment Center has been life-changing. The staff’s support and care have been crucial in my recovery from addiction and trauma.
Tim, my main therapist, has been a rock. His compassionate approach and deep understanding of addiction made me feel truly supported. He created a safe space for me to face challenges I never thought possible.
Andrew, the group therapist, brings a unique energy to sessions. His insightful guidance fosters meaningful connections with others on similar paths. His empathy and community-building skills have been incredibly healing.
What makes The Way Home special is the genuine care and dedication of everyone. They treat the whole person, not just the addiction, addressing trauma and promoting holistic healing.
Thanks to Tim, Bobbie, Andrew, Taha and the whole team, I’ve reclaimed my life and found hope. Their unwavering support has been the foundation of my recovery, and I am deeply grateful.
