My aunt recently completed a rehabilitation stay at this facility, and the level of care she received was exceptional. The nursing staff, therapists, and support team were attentive, patient, and truly committed to her recovery. They took the time to communicate with us regularly, answer our questions, and explain her treatment plan in a way we could easily understand.
The therapy department worked with her consistently and helped her regain strength and confidence, ultimately allowing her to return home safely. The environment was clean, well-organized, and focused on resident comfort and dignity.
We are sincerely grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown to my mother during her stay. I highly recommend this facility to any family seeking quality rehabilitation care.

I been two times visiting a friend in different hours including dinner time. The food was good and all the employees are very nice and sweet. Even the security that works at the entrance help me with the doors because I went with my cousin thst is in a wheelchair.

Ponce is a place to avoid. The administration lacks any type of consideration or compassion, a key element of health care. To say that the facility is there to serve the needs of the patient would be a false statement. It exists to make money for Onyx Care. I had two horrible experiences that sum up the overall conditions that exist there.
Number one, I was involved in an accident while being transported by their vehicle. My wheelchair was improperly secured & the unqualified driver was exceeding the safe speed even though brake lights ahead were all red. The driver was more involved talking to the side seated behind him than paying attention to the traffic in front. The more agitated he became, the harder he pushed on the accelerator. Eventually the inevitable happened. He quickly braked & swerved barely stopping before colliding with another vehicle whose brake lights were glaring red. The sudden stop threw me to the floor forcibly breaking the wheel off my wheelchair. I sustained a hyperextension of my shoulder which still hurts today 6 months later. The FHP showed up & I was transported to the ER.
On another occasion it was necessary for me to go to hospital. Before leaving they assured me my room was being held for my return. When it was time to return I was transported to a different facility. I was not informed by the hospital or Ponce that they placed me in another home. I was confused & upset. When my possessions finally arrived after more than a week many items of value were missing. The place I ended up was Biscayne Rehab in North Miami. It was a morgue without any supervision on the weekends. Patients would lie in their own feces for hours. So, if someone suggests Ponce to you - you're buying a one way ticket to Hell. Turn & run if you can as far as you can. Don't let them get their ice cold claws on you. They'll chill you to the 🦴🦴 bone.

We are very pleased and grateful to Ponce rehab for helping our Dad continue his journey in rehab after his stroke . All the staff here is amazing they take pride & care in everything they do . Jennifer from administration is very professional had some questions and she answered any doubts I had also David director of nursing is amazing the takes pride and gave me confidence that our Dad will be taken care to the best of standard . Would recommend Ponce Health & Rehabilitation to anyone . You can sleep at night knowing our Dad and any elderly person here is taking care of with dignity & care .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
