My mom fell at home, had a hip fracture and was admitted to Jackson Hospital. When she was ready for discharge they recommended a rehab facility to get her strength back before coming back home. I was hesitant at first and so was she, because we didn’t know what to expect. This facility really did their best to make this difficult situation as easy as possible. The entire staff was so welcoming ! From the second we walked through the door until the moment mom was able to come back home. Administration was very involved and available for us for every question we had. Rehab was great and my mom was able to get back home in just a few weeks. Her room was clean and she had the sweetest roommate which helped to pass the time. The food was great and she was even able to gain some weight while she was there. When it was time to come home they helped every step of the way to get everything we needed before she left. Forever grateful to the whole team there but especially the nurses and cnas. They treated her like family.

If you love your sick or elderly family members, do not put them in here. My grandmother was admitted here because she had advanced Alzheimer’s disease. In this place, she caught Covid several times, caught a stroke and a heart attack which eventually led to her death. They had her on record stating that she was still alive when she was deceased (for over a year). The facility are is dirty, 98% of the staff is rude and entitled, and they misplaced my grandmother‘s body when she passed away(We still do not know where her body is even after my family and I reached out to all of the funeral homes and crematoriums in the Miami-Dade area). I have even went to the extent of reaching out to the city officials in the Miami Dade County to start an investigation And pursuing legal action against this place. This isn’t a post to be subjective or vindictive; go visit and make your own judgement call. This is my experience amongst others who posted their own experiences. My experience with this place was traumatic and I am fearful to ever let a rehab center take care of a loved one.

My mom was here for rehabilitation and my mother and our family have had an amazing experience. She was transferred from the hospital and began rehab the following day. The rehab team here is amazing. She had a roommate who was adorable, and became my mother’s friend immediately. The staff is very friendly and speak Spanish, which was very helpful since that is the language my mom is most comfortable with. The food was great. Hopefully we won’t have to return anytime soon, but if mom is ever in the same situation I will definitely bring her back here. They treated us like family and we will be forever grateful.
